Everyone needs gas and light to live in their house. What most of us still don’t know is that you can choose your own supplier and save your energybill. Just like Shell and BP, if there are two gas stations next to each other and shell asks $1.50 litre and B.P provides $1.30 litre, where would you tank? Exactly. Why would you pay more for the exact same product? Luckily, nowadays people are getting more awareness and it can really save your bill. Now I can imagine you don’t have interest to find out which company is cheaper and how much it can save you and all the things you need to do for it. So thats why we have these guys that do all the paper work for you! They will show you exactly how much it will save you! I mean if nothing changes and you can save money. Who cares about the logo right?

Profit Supply aims to save your cost on your energy bill. Most companies want to give you a disccount just for the first year because you are a new customer. Profit Supply is looking for ways to keep giving discount even the year after.


Why?

Ever since we were little we wanted to start a business together.  We were already in the energy market and we saw that the companies could only give the customers a discount for the first year, we felt so bad. So now we came up with a solution to give them discount every year.

Friends vs Work

Make good choices with who you want to do business with. When you become their boss it is sometimes hard to tell them what to do, without sounding bossy. The switch from friend to boss can cause a lot of conflicts. So choose wisely.

 

What are your goals?

We are now based in just some parts of Holland, We want to go national.

What is the your main secret what no one else can know about?

 

I would have made less costs. Thats a big tip I wanna share with other entrepreneurs. We work with a system where we get payed after the contract are verified. But the employees had to get payed for this month. It can be tricky so try make as little costs as possible !

Getting crazy of those receipt you forgot to ask, lost or do you just put it a bag and arrange it at the end of the year  ? I always keep my administration and you’ll see me once a week ordering that. Well no more ! I start using this app and it saved me time !  You have your phone with you everywhere, especially when you are traveling and you need to be available for work. So this is a great solution. You can either manually insert you miles or through odometer you can take a picture of your meters and fill in your end meters

my personal favourite is the gps, I just click start and when im home again I simply click stop

You can also make a report, expenses and trips. Now you can have a clear view of your financial expenses at one glance.

4. Time.

Time is just everything for a business. You can meassure your work accurate. You can see how many hour you spend on it and then decide your price for example. Know your numbers ! It is Key to a succesfull business

How do i get customers?! #kvk

Last week was a dilemma for a few, the national rivals Feyenoord VS ajax started at 20.00 and the webinar at 20.30. So ask yourself what is more important? Luckily I made some notes so we can enjoy both. It was 60 minutes of usefull information. They kept it educational, simple but with very good content.

How do you distinguish yourself from others ?

Simple maths : problem + solution = customers. What they mean is keep it simple. Figure out what problem the customers are having, create a solution for them and you have your product. Try to look at it, from a customers view. Next to a product its important to give the customer some added value, for example quality of a good product. Take extra time to really think about what value you actual give them, this will make you unique from your competitors aswell.

 

Network, Network and network

Socialmedia is free and available for anyone to just grab. The one they discussed is Linkedin. They invited Linkedin Specialist Perry van Beek, Asked him some best tips for linkedin.

  1. Make sure you have a good profile picture. no vacay pictures, but a professional picture where you can see your face clearly. If possible state what you do. So if you are a singer try to have a microphone, a model a good portofolio picture etc..
  2. Spend 20 minutes a day on networking and interacting with your linkedin recommended list.
  3. Have a good summary. Explain why it is your passion and why you started your business. This will make it easy for companies to connect with you.
  4. Share or post something online.
  5. Get involved in one of those discussion panels and share your view.
  6. Ask if you can use your networks name to generate new network.

 

Specialize

Ofcourse you may think everyone is your  target audience, but unless you’re a doctor, police or the goverment you need to specialize. I know thats hard. Here you have something to help you get your target audience;

Describe your  ideal client. Where do I find them? How old are they ? What are they doing ?

Look at your competitors, How do they get their customers and now you do it better.

Analyze your market

 

Keep up to date : follow a studie, language or cursus

Secrets on closing a deal

You can say one thing and mean something else. You can easily read their body language

if they are ready to close a deal. Sales Tigers are very good at this. They use their body to strengthen their words.

The only thing you have to do is say the word they need to hear at the right time. Every client is unique and

have their time to be ready to close a deal.

 

 

Have the best first impression. Make sure they wonder from the moment you walked through that door

who you are. They don’t have to like you because its about the product .. believe me .. it does smoothens the conversation when they do like you

Make sure you wear something good,  Walk with a straight back and smile.

You may feel a bit nervous, but you look confident !

 

Be the 5 min friend.  Some people just like to get into the paperwork and get it down with. If you want to go for quality

make sure you build a business relationship. I always make sure they remember my name when i leave.

If you have a good product what will only benefit them, you always end up not talking about the product, but leaving with signature.

 

Depending on what you are selling. First what you do is observe the situation. Their body language, are they nervous or relaxed?

Open or Closed ? And work from that point.  Make sure to be the first to announce your getting serious and change your body language.

While giving your presentation pay attention to their body language.

 

Power presentation. During your presentation, you need to be excited. This is your time to sell your product. During this presentation, you need to observe their bodylanguage. One will look interested, one is almost falling a sleep and some are just natural. Make sure to get the attention of the ones excited and interested.

 

Now the big secret  : give them two choices and both of them is to close the deal. By doing this you make them feel like they are making a choice and you’re not telling them to close the deal.
